ATA Carnets
ATA Carnet, often referred to as the “Passport for goods”, is an international customs document that permits the tax-free and duty-free temporary export and import of non-perishable goods for up to one year. These types of customs formalities are common within the Events, Exhibitions, Film/Music industries, and are backed by an indemnity lodged with the local Chamber of Commerce.
EUR authorisation & preference declarations
The UK benefits from preferential duty rates on import & export trade with the European Union, other trading blocs and individual countries. Our team can offer guidance and advice regarding rules of origin and the application of preference declarations on commercial invoices for imports and exports.
For all trade between the UK-EU-UK, a preference declaration is used to demonstrate the origin and customs status of the goods. For certain other trading blocs/countries, EUR1 certificates, authenticated by customs are used.
Our team can help you obtain the necessary declarations and certificates upon receipt of a written request and supporting documents.
